Safe In God’s Tent

One of hubby’s shows is a series of YouTube videos called Outdoor Boys. The videos are chronicles of hunting and fishing trips a man and his family make together. Sometimes it’s just one of his three boys who goes with him. Last night he and his youngest son were camping in Alaska, when he got real quiet and whispered for the audience to listen. Wolves were outside the tent and they were making noises that sounded just like they were laughing! So weird. Nobody likes to have wolves that close, especially when only a tent is between them.

Oh beloved, God speaks to my heart. There are definitely wolves and they are so close. You can hear them laughing. They want to intimidate you and keep you fearful. But you are in the Tent of Meeting with the Lord. Jesus rent the veil in two forever. So you live in access 24/7 of the Greatest Protector in all the Universe. He wants His people to stop fearing what’s outside the tent. Instead whisper your prayers if you need to. But for sure pray. Whisper your worship songs, but for sure worship. That enemy that threatens you has no true access to a believer who stays sheltered in Christ.

God loves you and He wants to change your life. Give Him total access to you and you will find total access to Him. Rejoice that you get to feel His safety in all kinds of situations. And live in the protective presence of Holy Spirit always.

Proverbs 18:10 The name of the Lord is a fortified tower; the righteous run to it and are safe.

2 Thessalonians 3:3 But the Lord is faithful, and He will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one.

Psalm 3:4-6: I call out to the Lord, and he answers me from his holy mountain. I lie down and sleep, yet I wake up in safety, for the Lord was watching over me. I will not fear though ten thousand enemies surround me on every side.

About Rebekah Beene

In a Women’s meeting in 1983, I went up for prayer and to see if God had “anything for me”. The woman of God who was praying for people spoke over my life. She said these words: “You will write books. You can go to the bank on it. Rivers of living water will flow from your belly…”
