The new messaging app on social media is causing much concern. Once downloaded far too much personal information is taken. People who have downloaded it are now deleting it while others are ignoring it altogether. I am among the ones who are ignoring it. But I found a way to still be able to message friends without downloading it. On my desktop I can still use regular messaging. When using my phone, I simply go to a search engine and log in from there. The search engine version does not require the app to be used either. It took me a while to figure this out, but I’m so glad I worked through the issues and found a way to stay connected.
Oh beloved, there is a messenger who wants to take everything from you. He will steal your life and peace. He will take your personal information and replay it back to you in his version. You can bypass the lies of the enemy. You do not have to listen to another report that isn’t in line with God’s Word. Go straight to the source! Measure everything against God’s Word and see. If it steals your joy, breaks your peace, gives you condemnation or threatens your life, God wants to delete it entirely from your heart and mind. All you need is completely given to you by the application of the cross, the benefits of the resurrection and giving Christ your life. He will manage your friendships and remove the enemy’s taunts and more. All of His Words are kind and generous. Even in dealing with mistakes and failures, He deals with you in love. If you hear a request that has threats don’t waste another moment listening to the spiel. Delete the tactics of satan and refer only to God’s messages. It’s never too late to remove the lying applications and go back to the truth. Don’t settle for what the enemy wants to do to your heart and mind. Let God guard you with His Word of Truth.
God loves you and He’s for you. All your necessities are found in Christ and His Word. Rely on the truth and shut the enemy of your soul down. Know your rights and keep yourself safe in Jesus. You are blessed, redeemed, valued, and cared for always and forever.
