As with all health facilities people come in the room all through the night. The disruptions involve important things like taking vitals and giving meds. There is also the early morning fresh water.
Oh beloved You have had a disruption in your rest. Things have happened and now you wonder if you will ever rest again. God is here with you this day to give you fresh water flowing from His fountain of love. His manna is provided as well. He is truly a good good Father and He will always take care of you. What seems like a disruption now is actually a divine appointment. It’s an invitation to wake up and follow Him into a deeper walk with Him. It’s a call to strengthen your heart in His truth. It’s your answer to prayer- to be closer to God and to be more like Jesus. Instead of focusing on the disruption focus on the Spirit who gives seasons of refreshing in the driest places of your life.
God loves you and He’s for you. Thank Him for disruptions and praise Him for increased intimacy. And allow yourself time to practice His Presence as you live in the light of His perfect plan for your life.

The Illinois monument at Vicksburg came to mind yesterday morning. There are forty-seven steps in the long stairway, one for each day of the Siege of Vicksburg.
How high and steep they were! I wanted to climb them but fear kept me on the ground. Instead I sent fearless Danny up. Quickly he loved it and the view from the top.
Oh beloved. There comes a time we must all face our own set of steps. We must make the climb and we don’t know how many steps there will be. Others can’t walk it for us.
But you beloved don’t walk it alone. You have enough inner strength today to do whatever is before you by virtue of the Holy Spirit. Within you is great faith and strong resolve. Whatever you are facing you will overcome. This present situation is already a victory for you. Just climb and rejoice all the way!
God loves you and He is for you. Remember that you do nothing in your own flesh but by the Spirit you will scale the heights and see the view from the top. Praise the Lord that you can live in the power of the resurrection life!
John 15:5 I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing.
Zechariah 4:6 Then he said to me, “This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel saying, ‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ says the LORD of hosts.
Romans 8:37 No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.
Our first full day of therapy began with a huge room Full of people both workers and patients. The tendency when entering a room is to compare. Who is better off? Who is worse off? Do they have anyone with them? How long have they been there?
Oh beloved. You don’t have to compare your life with anyone. When you walk into any situation you are covered by the blood of Jesus. You are filled with the Holy Spirit. Even when you walk into hardship or pain God will escort you through it all. Comparison won’t help. Your tough times are like no one else’s. And your season of pain may last longer than others’. What you need to know is that at just the right time God will deliver you and give you a fresh start.
God loves you and He’s for you. Keep walking, keep praying and keep eating in His promises. And rejoice as you walk though it all living in the light of His glory and grace!
Psalm 23:4 Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for You are close beside me. Your rod and Your staff protect and comfort me.

Psalm 16:8 I have set the LORD continually before me; Because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken.
As I was getting a cup for Danny I heard my phone and glanced to se a text message. As I turned I brushed the empty breakfast tray off the counter. What a loud clang bang across the floor! As I cleaned up the mess we both laughed. I said Grace struck again”
But God spoke to my heart- when you get distracted is when mistakes happen.
Oh beloved. It’s so very important that you don’t let life distract you from the Lord. You need to have your eyes and heart set on Him. He sees the many things you have to do. He knows your heart. The distractions of life are always going to be there but you can focus in on The Lord for peace, steadfastness and joy. Distractions cause messes. As you develop your attention on Jesus your reward will be great.
God loves you and He’s for you. Rejoice that everything you need to do will get done because the Lord is first. And praise. Him that you can live the blessed life focused on Your relationship with the Lord.

Hebrews 12:2 We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith. Because of the joy awaiting him, he endured the cross, disregarding its shame. Now he is seated in the place of honor beside God’s throne.
When we were dating I could hardly wait each day to hear Danny’s voice. Before cell phones I would have to wait till evening each day. I have loved his voice for many years now. On Monday I asked him for a word. He quickly whispered “beauty for ashes”.
Oh beloved, God whispers to you this morning those words as well. You might be mourning a situation today but God will make something beautiful. This exchange of our lives doesn’t come from happier situations it comes right in the middle of the worst. And it only comes as you learn to live in the secret place with the Lord.
Your life is not the sum of your pile of ashes. No beloved your life is the sum of the truth of God’s word. In a time when all around you are saying whatever they feel like , you are going to live so secluded in Christ that your words will hold just what God would say. Learn to live for His voice alone and watch as He transforms you and your whole life before your very eyes.
God loves you and He’s for you. Rest and wait in Him. And rejoice that you can call on Him and He will answer as you live in the light of His beautiful exchange plan.
