I was reading the container of one of the color primer I use. “Apply on areas with imperfections.” The promise is you will have a flawless application. Wow the words jumped out at me. How wonderful it would be if it really worked that well!

This morning you are wondering about your imperfections. You may have been rejected or you live with something said to you when you were young. You know your imperfections far too well. And you know a whole bottle of something won’t ever make you flawless. You’re worn out with the struggle. You just want something that you feel in your heart you won’t ever get – perfection. Then you’d be loved, then you wouldn’t be so anxious or try to prove yourself worthy.

Oh beloved, there is One who is the perfect covering for all your flaws. His name is Jesus. Not only does He cover your flaws, He is the One who loves you just the way you are. The world’s idea of flaws don’t matter to Jesus. He makes the heart sing because He applies His truth to the mind. And as the mind goes, so the heart changes. And then your inside life will match what God says about you – beautiful, cherished, perfect in His sight. Yes, read that again, perfect in His sight. He says you are worthy of love, care and freedom from all anxiety. What a beautiful life you have right at your fingertips!

God loves you and He’s for you. Reach out this morning for the Lord’s Gift – and know you are flawlessly loved, magnificently cared for and more – your future is secure in Christ. Thank Him this morning that He doesn’t weigh you by man’s scales nor does He check you by human mirrors. And live in the Light of His wonderful, amazing never ending love that perfects you in Him and gives you a reason to shine!

Hebrews 10:14 For by the one offering He has perfected forever and completely cleansed those who are being sanctified [bringing each believer to spiritual completion and maturity]. AMP

Song of Solomon 4:7 O my love, you are altogether beautiful and fair. There is no flaw nor blemish in you!

Zephaniah 3:17 The Lord your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you by his love; he will exult over you with loud singing.

Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

About Rebekah Beene

In a Women’s meeting in 1983, I went up for prayer and to see if God had “anything for me”. The woman of God who was praying for people spoke over my life. She said these words: “You will write books. You can go to the bank on it. Rivers of living water will flow from your belly…”
