Danny rented a piece of equipment to help him with the wall rebuild. At first I was fearful of it. I’ve been helping him, but I have been wary of getting too close. But I noticed last night as we worked that my fear of the machinery has ebbed. I am beginning to get the hang of it. And I’m better help to my hubby because of this. Fear will keep you insecure and weak.
Oh beloved, God is teaching His children about the machinery of faith. We’re fearful of what we encounter in life. We’re also fearful to try new equipment to walk out this life of faith. But God wants you and me to know this morning the more we practice the more proficient we will be.
God says in His Word that tested faith grows. Walking in faith gains strength. It’s better than a workout at a gym. Because when your faith muscles are increased you have more authority over the enemy. God knows you’d like to have the easy life, but an easy life won’t produce much power. Don’t be afraid to speak out the Word when the enemy tries to defeat you. Don’t let fear keep you from walking in faith. I could have walked away the first time I mashed a finger (well I did run in the house because it scared me. But I came right back out!). But I endured. I stayed with my leader who I knew I could trust. After three days of working with Danny and the machinery I saw last night that my fears were dissolving.
So you too will see your fears dissolve as you take hold of the faith and allow God to take you where you’ve never been. New experiences of faith will increase your knowledge and increase your ability at the same time. Through Christ you are more than able to do whatever He asks you to do. And pray through your walls, barriers, buildings and problems, situations and fears. You are assigned this territory to build and work and grow stronger in your faith!
God loves you and He’s for you. Run to Him this morning and thank Him for what He is doing in your life and live, building spiritual muscles, in the Light of His Truth workouts for you.
