This time change is rough on the body. For some reason I’m both sleepy earlier in the evening and I have a harder time waking up in the morning. Seems like it should be one or the other. I guess it just messes with our internal clocks so much. I’m sure people are having a hard time getting to work in the morning. And I know that the first Sunday is the hardest because so many people make reminders for getting to church on time.
Oh beloved, you may have a hard time getting around with this time change. But God is not affected by it. He’s an on-time God. He’s never late, He never sleeps, He doesn’t need an alarm nor does He forget anything. While you and I may deal with things that we want to set a timer for, we just have to wait on the Lord. He knows His timing and we must learn to trust Him.
It may look like it’s too late for your prayers to be answered. It might seem impossible at this late hour for your dreams to come true. You may be wondering where God is or if He remembers you at all. This same God who set the planets in orbit has your best interests in mind. You don’t have a thing to worry about. What does worry do for you anyway? Trust God. Rest in His promises. Your life is perfected along the way as you learn to wait on Him.
God loves you and He’s for you. Run to Him and give Him your hopes and prayers. Thank Him for His perfect timing. Rejoice that His Word is His bond that you can rely on. And live without fear, worry or concern as you walk in the light of His Truth for your life!
2 Peter 3:8 But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day.
Lamentations 3:25-26 The Lord is good to those whose hope is in Him, to the one who seeks him; it is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord
Isaiah 55:8-9 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.
Galatians 6:9 And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.
