The evidence is all around us.
We know that we have deer in our yard daily. As we walked through our yard enjoying the cooler weather blowing in, we counted all the deer tracks around us. Those deer are rarely seen in person but we cannot deny the evidence that they are with us.
So too we cannot deny the evidence that God is with us. Everywhere we look. Not just in the good times, but He is with us then. But in those times when things don’t work out but we’re still going He is going before us.
Oh beloved, you’ve been asking God to show Himself. Some have even asked for Him to prove He is real. I can tell you He is real by the things we encountered in the hospital when Danny was so very ill, in the rehab while he was recovering and even now. But the widow whose husband didn’t make it can tell you too. She’s not alone although she remains lonely for her beloved. We all have different outcomes but the same Lord who always promises to never leave us or forsake us.
You may be in a hard place right now but God hasn’t left you. He never abandons His own. He is more present in the hard times. Look to your evidence. The enemy will say where’s God? As you look to the Word you find that greater is HE who is in you than he who is in the world. Regardless of the circumstances of life we all go through – you have nothing to worry about. Your worry and fear will only feed the flames of unbelief. But your consistent focus on the Scriptures and prayer will give you faith to make it. Your destiny does not lie in a hospital bed nor a graveyard. Your destiny lies in who God says He is for you. He’s your Mighty Fortress, your Strong Defender, your Ever Present Help, your Shelter in the Storm, your Redeemer, your Everything.
God loves you and He’s for you. You can plan your ways but don’t forget to ask Him for help in every way. He makes all things work together for your good. Just one of His multitude of promises. Rejoice that even in the moments of agony and despair He is your Hope and Joy. And live a fully alive life in the Light of His Wonderful Care.
Psalm 59:16 But as for me, I shall sing of Your strength; Yes, I shall joyfully sing of Your lovingkindness in the morning, For You have been my stronghold And a refuge in the day of my distress.
Psalm 12:5 “Because of the devastation of the afflicted, because of the groaning of the needy, Now I will arise,” says the LORD; “I will set him in the safety for which he longs.”
Psalm 142:5 I cried out to You, O LORD; I said, “You are my refuge, My portion in the land of the living.”
Matthew 28:20 …And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.
