There are new electric poles in our neighborhood. They are a good three feet taller than the old ones. It took a process to get these new poles in. Several days of planning and marking the ground, then returning and drilling the holes. Then turning the electricity off, which meant our home was dark for a few hours. As everything was attached to the new, including the street light, the power was restored. And as I came downstairs this morning I noticed too that the night light was brighter because it was now higher.
Oh beloved, whatever you are going through there is a process in it. God knows what He is doing even if you don’t. There is a process in all of God’s work. Sometimes things have to be removed so that better can replace it. This process is so very hard for us isn’t it? We want instant whatever it is. Instant answers to prayer and instant relief from trials. But this King of the Universe is adept at knowing just how to remove, replace and restore. And what He is doing in your life is glorious! When He’s through, His light will shine brighter in you and through you than ever before.
You may have to endure the process but you will love the outcome. You might even feel that the light has been completely disconnected along the way but beloved, God never disconnects from His own. Your tendency to blame yourself during this period, this process, will be there. But remember God redeems everything in a believer’s life. Don’t look back and try to figure out where you went wrong. Don’t grovel with the devil when he tries to convince you that you need to give up. This is your finest moment – and something you will be thrilled with when it’s all done. Nothing the Lord ever does is to harm His own – He is always sending ways to increase His Shekinah Glory within us! You, beloved, are about to burst through with more wisdom, power and love than ever before!
God loves you and He’s for you – always. He’s turning this temporary situation into a permanent entrance for His glory! He will redeem what’s lost and give you a fresh outlook. Just lean on Him and allow Him to work through you as you shine His light in your heart and life walking in His wonderful plan!
Romans 5:3-5 And not only this, but we also exult in our tribulations, knowing that tribulation brings about perseverance; and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope; and hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.
2 Corinthians 4:17 For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever!
2 Corinthians 3:18 So all of us who have had that veil removed can see and reflect the glory of the Lord. And the Lord–who is the Spirit–makes us more and more like him as we are changed into his glorious image.
