My boss and her husband are building a house. Actually they have a contractor who is building it for them. LOL Their first contractor was great but he decided he just didn’t have the time or manpower help to do the job. That put them in a pickle. But they met the new contractor and he has proved to be a whiz at what he does. His confidence level is through the roof. He’s been building houses for decades and has the crews working for him to get things done. Frankly neither she nor I had ever heard of this contractor until she hired him. And she sure didn’t know she would have to find a new contractor after the house was started. It’s amazing what God will do. Did I mention that we prayed for God’s help? God is good.
Oh beloved, if you’re like me you have gone through some things recently that you didn’t even know you would go through. As I look back at the last three months I discover that even though we had two different doctors who didn’t believe my hubby was seriously ill, God put us in the best places ever for diagnosis and recovery. People, places and things we’d never heard of were landed in our laps. It’s amazing what God will do.
God wants you to know this morning that He has you covered. He covered your life before the foundation of the world. He’s been covering you since birth with His amazing love, magnificent care and overshadowing presence. Even if you find yourself in uncharted waters, He’s already charted everything. Even if it looks like you are going to have a disaster His protection is already provided for you. He says to you this morning – Stop looking at the things you see with your eyes. Your eyes will always see impending disaster and ultimate doom. Start looking to Him instead. Remember His promises, look at His past work, remember that He has confidence to do exceedingly abundantly above all you could ever ask or think. He is I AM. He is Jehovah Jireh. He is the King of the Universe. He is the Lord of both Heaven and Earth. Is anything too difficult for Him? No! Then it’s not too difficult for you either. Grab His promises, hold His hand and watch as He gives you an unprecedented outcome for His glory and your good.
God loves you and He’s for you. Run to Him this morning, pour out your plans to Him. Allow Him to make changes and renew your vows to follow Him with your whole heart in faith and trust. And rejoice as you live in the Light of The Only Living God!
