All of Danny’s needs were met in the two hospitals he was in. I had looked into the rehab hospital before we went there and I had hope that the reviews were true. Danny’s affliction needed the best assistance to getting well we could get. Of course I prayed all the time. From praying for the right doctors and therapists to praying that he would totally recover, all the bases were covered. For time spent in hospital, we had a wonderful experience and again Danny wanted for nothing while there. And now we’re home and the same is true – God is meeting all our needs.

Oh beloved, did you know? God chose you in advance and you are united with Christ. He has promised to meet all your needs. He is not scrambling for the best outcome. He’s not worried that He was caught off guard. He’s not trying to figure out what to do for you. You have an inheritance because He chose you and He has already promised to make everything work out according to His plan for you.

He says to you this morning – be joyful as you hope for a good outcome. Be patient as you are in the situation you find yourself in. He says stay faithful in your prayers. Don’t give up, don’t give in, give each day, each hour, each moment to Him. He’s got this. He’s got you. IF God is not surprised, worried or fearful why should you be? If God isn’t letting His thoughts run wildly out of control then you don’t have to. If God says it will work out right, then that should be your belief too. While the world says worry is just what people do, you are not of this world. While people might even look at you with sympathy you can look at yourself with victory.

God loves you and He’s for you! Trust Him, keep your joy, stay patient and pray always. Your mess is going to be a message to others. Your test is going to be a testimony for the world. Your life is beautiful and all your needs are met as you live in the Light of Christ’s provision for you!

Romans 12:12 Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.

Ephesians 1:11 Furthermore, because we are united with Christ, we have received an inheritance from God, for He chose us in advance, and He makes everything work out according to His plan.

I Thessalonians 5:17 Never stop praying.

Isaiah 25:11 LORD, you are my God; I will exalt you and praise Your name, for in perfect faithfulness You have done wonderful things, things planned long ago.

About rebekahbeene

In a Women’s meeting in 1983, I went up for prayer and to see if God had “anything for me”. The woman of God who was praying for people spoke over my life. She said these words: “You will write books. You can go to the bank on it. Rivers of living water will flow from your belly…”
