You never do one thing alone

I remember the day that US Airways flight 1549 landed in the Hudson River in 2009. Just after takeoff the plane was hit by a flock of birds which took out both engines. The pilot made the calculated decision to attempt to put the plane down in the river because they would not make it to either nearby airport.

The aviation board accused him of making a poor decision and he faced dire retribution for it. Finally he was exonerated and given accolades.

Capt Sully proved that when you stand on the Truth you will be redeemed. And in his own words he gave the entire crew and passengers credit for the successful outcome. “I did nothing alone”.

Oh beloved. You feel like you’re on a crash coarse with life. But the Lord wants you to know this morning you are not alone. Before the foundation of the world your situation was well in God’s scope and His outcome for you was secure. You do nothing alone and you face no mortal or spiritual danger by yourself. God is not caught by surprise at this fiery trial you are in. His thoughts for you are success. His plans for you are redemptive in nature and divine in content. As you glide through the barrage of the enemy God says all is well. He says listen to My Voice and follow My instruction. You are not doing this alone.

God loves you and He’s for you. Relax your mind from fretting and fearfulness. Rejoice that The Only Living God is with you, Christ goes before you and Holy Spirit is in you. Thank Him for the outcome as you live in the light of the wonderful touch of His Hand on your life.

Psalm 16:8 I know the LORD is always with me. I will not be shaken, for He is right beside me.

Psalm 109:30 For He stands at the right hand of the needy, to save their lives from those who would condemn them.

Psalm 145:3 Great is the LORD and most worthy of praise; His greatness no one can fathom.

About rebekahbeene

In a Women’s meeting in 1983, I went up for prayer and to see if God had “anything for me”. The woman of God who was praying for people spoke over my life. She said these words: “You will write books. You can go to the bank on it. Rivers of living water will flow from your belly…”
