When we went to our scheduled appointment yesterday we arrived a little early. We found a “Gone To Lunch” sign on the door. We had to wait for them to return and remove the sign and unlock the door. Then we could enter in and receive what was needed. It took patience to wait but it was worth it.
Oh beloved. The Lord is always available and His heart is always open to your pleas. Although it may appear that He is holding back He is actually working behind the scenes on your behalf. While you want instant answers the Lord is still and calm and He knows what you need. He’s never late. Patience in the process is a gift to you. Patience produces endurance and endurance is what you need to receive all God has planned for you even in this season. You’re not waiting for the other shoe to fall. You are waiting for God’s glory to fall and heal your situation and receive God’s best for you.
God loves you and He’s for you. Patience kept Christ focused on the promise of resurrection. He completed it all for you. Run to Him this morning and thank Him for what He is doing while you wait. And thank Him for the answer as you wait on the Promises of God.
Colossians 1:11 We also pray that you will be strengthened with all his glorious power so you will have all the endurance and patience you need. May you be filled with joy,
Psalm 27:14 Wait patiently for the LORD. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the LORD.
Psalm 130:5 I wait for the LORD, my soul does wait, And in His word do I hope.
