Cocoon of Peace

While in rehab we were very secure. No stress and all peace. It was a fantastic environment for recovering and gaining strength. Like a cocoon of sorts all we had to concern ourselves with was getting well. Personally all I had to concentrate on was Danny and his recovery. If I got my mind on other things or allowed myself to worry about anything that peace would be lost. While Danny was concentrating on getting well I had to concentrate on staying at peace for his sake as well as my own.

There were times I got outside God’s peace but only when I got my eyes off Jesus and onto things I could not do anything about.

Oh beloved we don’t all get to go live in a bubble for a month do we? But you are so very blessed. You have access to heaven’s resources! You have the cocoon of the Father’s peace that guards your heart and mind. You are indwelled by Holy Spirit and you have the mind of Christ. As long as you remain in the security of who you are inChrist you cannot be touched by fear, worry or anxiety. Outside of God’s truth you will be swallowed in the mess of life. But you beloved have authority to remain secure and at peace always no matter what.

God loves you and He’s for you. He will always come to your aid and give you rest. Praise Him for all His benefits and live in the security of His wonderful peace!

Philippians 4:6-7  Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.

Isaiah 32:17 The fruit of that righteousness will be peace; its effect will be quietness and confidence forever.

Isaiah 26:3 You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in You, all whose thoughts are fixed on You!

John 16:33 I have told you all this so that you may have peace in Me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world.

About rebekahbeene

In a Women’s meeting in 1983, I went up for prayer and to see if God had “anything for me”. The woman of God who was praying for people spoke over my life. She said these words: “You will write books. You can go to the bank on it. Rivers of living water will flow from your belly…”
