Uncomfortable?

Each night as we prepare for bed Get my pillow and blanket. I drape it across the “recliner” and then I push and pull to get settled in. Last night I was just right when Danny realized he needed something. It was no inconvenience though because I love him and I have much to be thankful for.
Oh beloved. Life has been quite comfortable hasn’t it? You’ve enjoyed restful nights and calm days. But now you’ve been removed from your nest. What does God want? Why has He allowed this? How can you make it?
God wants to confirm you to the image of His Son. So now you need to find His peace when yours is so disturbed. God wants you to grow in grace and knowledge. Here you are- completely uncomfortable so He gives you the opportunity to seek His face and believe His Word. He allows even the hard times so that you and I will know that we can’t make it on our own. We need a supernatural strength to get through this.
What a magnificent truth that even when the enemy means to do evil and destroy us God will turn it for good. You and I can count on God and say yes Lord whenever our rest is disturbed and our hope is delayed.
God loves you and he is for you always. Christ became very uncomfortable so that you could have an abundant life. Thank him this morning for the changes because you know that He is with you and his hand is upon you and nothing will ever separate you from his love.
2 Corinthians 3:18 But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit.
I John 4:10 This is real love–not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins.
Romans 12:1-2 Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.

About rebekahbeene

In a Women’s meeting in 1983, I went up for prayer and to see if God had “anything for me”. The woman of God who was praying for people spoke over my life. She said these words: “You will write books. You can go to the bank on it. Rivers of living water will flow from your belly…”
