A Life With A View

As I sit here looking out the hospital window mostly what I see is brick walls. The attendant said you can stretch and see the garden oasis. Sure enough the beautiful plants were there.

Oh beloved. From where you are right now there may be very little beauty. Mostly what you see is trouble, sorrow or pain. God wants to give you a better view of things. You will have to look beyond the natural to see the supernatural. It is a stretch especially in these hard times to see anything supernatural. But it is promised to you by your Heavenly Father. Jesus made the way by a more painful route than you and I will ever go. And the Holy Spirit has come to dwell in you and give you the spiritual eyesight you need right now.

God loves you and He is for you. Thank Him this morning for His lavish grace poured out like a fountain on dry land. Rejoice that the view through His eyes gives you fresh hope as you walk in the Truth and live for Him.

2 Corinthians 4:18 So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever.

I Corinthians 2:14 But people who aren’t spiritual can’t receive these truths from God’s Spirit. It all sounds foolish to them and they can’t understand it, for only those who are spiritual can understand what the Spirit means.
