When my kids were little supper was always at the table but it wasn’t always what each child wanted. So I would always say “you have a choice this or nothing.” They generally chose supper as it was.
Oh beloved, this day God does not restrict our prayers as only one or nothing. We have the Word of God in written form but we have the Word of God – Jesus – who became flesh and dwelt among us. When we are faced with two choices we always choose to be obedient to the Lord as children who love God our Father.
But we don’t have to labor at the banquet table of what ifs, how to’s or anything. Jesus taught His disciples to pray Your Kingdom come on earth… He tells us in the realm of prayer to pray expecting to receive. He says ask, seek, knock and keep on asking seeking and knocking. The prayer of apathy, resignation or self provoking is mentioned nowhere.
God loves you and He’s for you. So beloved believer pray for the Kingdom to come on earth in your situation. Ask for big scary prayer answers that have no hope for an answer without intervention from the Lord. Don’t worry about anything but pray and believe you receive. Your King loves to answer, your Savior intercedes 24/7 and Holy Spirit is your Guide. When you release unprecedented prayer you receive a banquet of blessing! Don’t fear missing God’s will for it is His good pleasure to restore, heal and deliver. Rejoice that your prayers can have real answers that show His power and glory as you walk by faith and not by sight!
James 5:13-15 Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing psalms. 14 Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. 15 And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.
1 Peter 2:24 who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness-by whose stripes you were healed.
3 John 1:2 Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.
Acts 3:6 But Peter said, “I do not possess silver and gold, but what I do have I give to you: In the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene– walk!”
