God Never Gives Up

As I watched the small video of a daring water rescue of two small children I involuntarily held my breath. And as I heard a bystander crying out “Jesus give them breath, Jesus help them breathe” I wept. It was an impossible situation and yet the impossible was accomplished. Regular ordinary men tore open the submerged upside down car doors and tore open seat belts to get those babies out of that car. They didn’t care what else happened, they just didn’t give up. Turns out the two babies were rescued and one is already out of the hospital. The other will recover and come home as well.

God speaks to my heart this morning. He never gives up.

Oh beloved, God wants you and me to know this morning that even when we have moments of terror He is with us. He gives supernatural strength to our hearts, our minds and our bodies. He says keep praying. He says keep prying the jaws of the enemy off the situation and off those you are praying for. They may be drowning in their own mess and you may feel like you will drown too but by the Spirit of the living God your prayers are making headway. Release of the captive is coming. Breath of heaven will enter their lungs and they will survive and thrive! No weapon formed against you or those you intercede for will prosper. You will never be in a situation that God will abandon you! Christ’s salvation has sealed your life and Holy Spirit is empowering you to stay the course with God on to victory!

Those men who were working so diligently got mad, bossed each other and even cussed. You don’t have to do that in the Spirit though. You are remaining calm and you are working in the Spirit without speaking to the flesh. You are not in a flesh and blood war beloved! You are in a Spirit war! And Spirit wars must be fought by the Spirit to be won! And you will learn to fight in the Spirit and see results of freedom, redemption, deliverance and turnaround!

God loves you and He’s for you! Keep going forward. Know that God never gives up so you won’t either! Rejoice that the victory is coming because you are staying in the Spirit and living in the Truth of His Magnificent, All Powerful, Redeeming Word!

Deuteronomy 31:6 So be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid and do not panic before them. For the LORD your God will personally go ahead of you. He will neither fail you nor abandon you.

Ephesians 6:12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.

Deuteronomy 20:1 When you go out to fight your enemies and you face horses and chariots and an army greater than your own, do not be afraid. The LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, is with you!

Mark 11:24 Therefore I say to you, all things for which you pray and ask, believe that you have received them, and they will be granted you.

Isaiah 3:10 Say to the righteous that it will go well with them, For they will eat the fruit of their actions.

About rebekahbeene

In a Women’s meeting in 1983, I went up for prayer and to see if God had “anything for me”. The woman of God who was praying for people spoke over my life. She said these words: “You will write books. You can go to the bank on it. Rivers of living water will flow from your belly…”
