We may struggle with birth pangs but God is going to birth the miraculous because He is the Father of All Miracles!
The Lord reminded me of our daughter’s first baby. She went to the hospital because she thought she was in labor. They dismissed her and sent her on home. That night she was uncomfortable the entire time and the next morning she went back to the hospital. Sure enough she had been in active labor all night!
Although it didn’t look to the professionals like she was in labor, she actually was. But now she was close to birthing the baby so they kept her and we had a new grandchild within hours.
Oh beloved, God wants us to know that every prayer is a movement of labor. Every tear, every pleading word, every hand off to the Lord is active and alive. It may be that in the earthly realm that labor seems to have stopped or that something is very wrong. But in the heavenlies each prayer is pushing and moving things along. You will give birth – to the outcomes of intercession, to the answers of prayers, to the will of God for your loved ones, and to the fulfillment of God’s will for you and all you pray for.
God loves you and He’s for you! Rejoice that your labor of prayer is not in vain as you live in the Light of His Presence and Promises.
Ephesians 6:18 With all prayer and petition pray [with specific requests] at all times [on every occasion and in every season] in the Spirit, and with this in view, stay alert with all perseverance and petition [interceding in prayer] for all God’s people. AMP
Psalm 5:3 In the morning, O Lord, You will hear my voice; In the morning I will order my prayer to You and eagerly watch.
Philippians 4:6-7 Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank Him for all He has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.
