Big Changes Are A Beacon

My husband and I had a mini getaway yesterday. We had intended to even spend the night somewhere out of town. But the weather did not cooperate with that. So we just spent the day going to flea markets nearby. We ended the day with supper at a restaurant we hadn’t tried before. It was delicious! The only problem with it wasn’t discovered until we got home. My hubby and I both discovered we experienced the results of an often used ingredient that gives him a racing heart and headache and gives me restless legs. Ugh! We’re fine, but we will have to avoid going there again.

Oh beloved, God wants you to know this morning that He is well aware of the things that bother you. He knows the physical things, but He also knows the emotional turmoil and condemnation that comes with situations you cannot give yourself to. He knows you feel at times that you are the outsider or the fifth wheel. He is cheering you on to live this life of faith. He is saying well done. He is also saying that others notice your lifestyle of difference. They see you avoiding what you even used to enjoy. While you may get some criticism or even get urged to go with the crowd, God is with you! And they are taking all of your life of faith into account. It is making a difference for them! They may say nothing, they may not acknowledge it ever. But one thing is for sure – your walk in freedom is a beacon of light to all who know you! In the atmosphere of the heavenlies there is a winning chapter in your life that is causing others to win as well. Your life and your lifestyle of faith are clarion calls like a wide open megaphone for Jesus.

God loves you and He’s for you! He doesn’t take things away. But as we live our life for Him, loving Him more and more and focusing on Him and His Word, other things just lose their luster. Holy Spirit infilling causes big changes. This is your destiny to show for the praises of Him who called you out of darkness and into His marvelous light! Rejoice that as you pray and live for Jesus even the unsaved will be amazed as you live in the Light of His Glory and Grace!

Romans 3:22-23 We are made right with God by placing our faith in Jesus Christ. And this is true for everyone who believes, no matter who we are. For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard.

Romans 6:6-7 We know that our old sinful selves were crucified with Christ so that sin might lose its power in our lives. We are no longer slaves to sin. For when we died with Christ we were set free from the power of sin.

Galatians 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave Himself for me. KJV

Ephesians 5:2 Live a life filled with love, following the example of Christ. He loved us and offered Himself as a sacrifice for us, a pleasing aroma to God.

About rebekahbeene

In a Women’s meeting in 1983, I went up for prayer and to see if God had “anything for me”. The woman of God who was praying for people spoke over my life. She said these words: “You will write books. You can go to the bank on it. Rivers of living water will flow from your belly…”
