The Freedom Giver

When my dad worked out in the gulf he would be gone for 2 or 3 months at a time so my mother and I were home alone. Since we were alone she kept the house locked during the day. And at night she even slid a case knife through the door facing of her bedroom where we stayed together.

As I thought about this the other day I heard the Lord speak to my heart: “This is when fear came in”. I knew that fear had been with me all my life. That day, when God spoke to my heart, I knew He was telling me something that would change my life. I knew He was telling me that’s when the SPIRIT of fear entered my life. So if it was a SPIRIT I could be rid of it once and for all. And I was. That lying seducing spirit that had controlled so many emotions and decisions was gone that day. Even though I’d had little victories along the way I am now totally set free from the SPIRIT of fear.

Oh beloved, did you know? Have you heard? God is the Freedom Giver! Issues you may have had all your life are not from Him. Keep seeking Him for answers. And know that He will reveal the truth to you so that you can be set free from anything that has you bound even in the slightest. We are coming into a season of a free work through Christ. That means no bondage, no chains, no resistance from the enemy.

God loves you and He’s for you! This means war and He is your War Winner! Nothing is hidden from Jesus and nothing can bind you that isn’t from Him! Rejoice that you are in a season of being set free as you move on into the higher calling for Kingdom and Glory of God!

Galatians 4:3 So also we, while we were children, were held in bondage under the elemental things of the world.

Psalm 107:14-15 He led them from the darkness and deepest gloom; He snapped their chains. Let them praise the Lord for His great love and for the wonderful things He has done for them.

Galatians 3:17 Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.

Psalm 112:8 They are confident and fearless and can face their foes triumphantly.

About rebekahbeene

In a Women’s meeting in 1983, I went up for prayer and to see if God had “anything for me”. The woman of God who was praying for people spoke over my life. She said these words: “You will write books. You can go to the bank on it. Rivers of living water will flow from your belly…”
