Who Keeps Bringing That Up?

Many years ago one of my uncles bought an appliance at the local department store. He faithfully made the payments in person until it was time for it to be paid off. Something happened and the store manager said he still owed around $200. This upset my uncle but he could not prove it since he paid cash every time. He ended up paying the extra because he felt he had to. Lesson learned the hard way.

Oh beloved, God wants you and I both to know this morning that He paid it all! There’s nothing left to pay! You don’t have to worry because your entire receipt book is nailed to the Cross. When thoughts of past mistakes rise back into your mind and bring pain to your heart don’t listen! It’s not God calling up the old stuff! Even if you made the worst mistakes in the world today is a new day! The enemy of your soul wants you to believe that there’s no hope for restitution, repayment or wiping the slate clean. He will make you pay every day he can. God says to you strength will rise as you rely on the payment I gave for you.

God loves you and He is for you! No more listening to the father of lies because you now belong to the Father of Lights in whom there is no shadows! He won’t bring up the past! He speaks newness of life! Rejoice that you walk in no shame, no regret, and pure joy! You’re covered by the Blood of the Lamb and the works of faith are yours as you live in the light of God’s mercy and grace!

Psalm 103:12 As far as the east is from the west, So far has He removed our transgressions from us.

Isaiah 43:25 I, even I, am the one who wipes out your transgressions for My own sake, And I will not remember your sins.

Ephesians 1:7 He is so rich in kindness and grace that He purchased our freedom with the blood of His Son and forgave our sins.

Hebrews 12:24. You have come to Jesus, the one who mediates the new covenant between God and people, and to the sprinkled blood, which speaks of forgiveness instead of crying out for vengeance like the blood of Abel.

About rebekahbeene

In a Women’s meeting in 1983, I went up for prayer and to see if God had “anything for me”. The woman of God who was praying for people spoke over my life. She said these words: “You will write books. You can go to the bank on it. Rivers of living water will flow from your belly…”
