It’s What’s Inside That Counts

Danny and I were very surprised as we pulled into the gas station before church. There in front of us, parked at the door of the station was the same model and year of a car we owned back in the early 70’s. It wasn’t so pretty anymore, but it was still road worthy. Danny told our son in law about the powerful engine inside that little car. It could accelerate quickly and go very fast. But it didn’t look like it at all. On the outside it just appeared to be a compact car without many frills at all.

Oh beloved, do you have any idea what is on the inside of you? It’s time you find out just what you can do! No longer do you have to worry about being outrun by others. You are being accelerated by the Lord Himself. Your power isn’t your own. Holy Spirit is the most powerful force and He will get you where you are destined to be without delay. You may say “I’m just me.” But beloved, inside you are the workings of the finest machinery – you are full of God’s wisdom, power and love. Everything God has said a believer has is yours. You’ve not just been modified, you’ve been changed from the inside out! You have the finest braking system in all eternity. You can stop when the enemy tries to tempt you without having to go through the mud or the pitfalls of his lies. Inside you is a veritable 007 of equipping! You’ve got the Sword of the Spirit resident in you. You’re revved up with Rhema knowledge! You are thoroughly equipped for every single working of Christ that you are destined to achieve!

God loves you and He’s for you! That’s why He equips His own with wondrous workings of Spiritual proportions! You are never stuck on the side of the road because even the pit stops are God ordained rests! Rejoice that you can face the road ahead without jealously, envy, worry, fear, shame or any other emotion from the enemy! You are fashioned to race through this life fully engaged by the Spirit as you live in the Light of God’s truth about you!

I Corinthians 1:26 – 27 Remember, dear brothers and sisters, that few of you were wise in the world’s eyes or powerful or wealthy when God called you. Instead, God chose things the world considers foolish in order to shame those who think they are wise. And He chose things that are powerless to shame those who are powerful.

Ephesians 1:19 I also pray that you will understand the incredible greatness of God’s power for us who believe Him…

Ephesians 6:10 A final word: Be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power.

About rebekahbeene

In a Women’s meeting in 1983, I went up for prayer and to see if God had “anything for me”. The woman of God who was praying for people spoke over my life. She said these words: “You will write books. You can go to the bank on it. Rivers of living water will flow from your belly…”
