There were noises downstairs as I woke up this morning. I had a choice. I could ask God to speak upstairs where I was cozy and “safe” and write His message on my phone. Or I could venture downstairs to the computer. I decided to move on down. Sure enough, once downstairs there was nothing to fear but fear itself.
Oh beloved, God is moving. And He’s moving His people out of their safety zones. He wants you to know this morning that fearlessness comes when we put aside the fear and reach for His Hand. You can do it! You hear God’s call. What do you fear? Venture out into the unknown with the Lord who has called you to go! Tiptoes of reticence become exploits of dynamic power when you release yourself to experience God completely! He says pull off the restraints and go further with Him. He says you are beloved and cherished. That means He will guide you, watch over you, keep you and deliver you exactly where you need to be. Valiant explorer of the unknown! That’s your title. Your tiny dreams of moving into the fuller things of God are dreams from the Lord Himself! Fears must vanish as you walk freely in the power of Christ through the indwelling of Holy Spirit. Even if you hear things, don’t let the rumors or mystery get to you any longer. God calls and then He equips. Your destiny is to rise up into His Presence, go further out into the future, being carried forth by His love!
God loves you and He’s for you! Who knows what your obedience over fear may do? Release captives! Set others on fire! Reach the lost! Love the unlovable! These are the days of real freedom where the doors of opportunity have been flung open so that even the timid may go! Rejoice that He who has called you will keep you as you walk in His Perfect Will this year and all your days!
I John 4:18 Such love has no fear, because perfect love expels all fear. If we are afraid, it is for fear of punishment, and this shows that we have not fully experienced His perfect love.
Luke 1:74-75 We have been rescued from our enemies so we can serve God without fear, in holiness and righteousness for as long as we live.
Romans 8:15 For you have not received a spirit of slavery leading to fear again, but you have received a spirit of adoption as sons by which we cry out, “Abba! Father!”
I Corinthians 1:9 God is faithful, through whom you were called into fellowship with His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
