We are not getting much break from rainy weather. Even when it’s not supposed to rain it’s still calling for cloudiness. After a while we all begin to feel mildewed. We need that beautiful sunshine to perk our spirits and dry things out. I can’t imagine choosing to live somewhere that it rains all the time. Still, we are here and our area has no promise of sunshine at least through the week-end.
Oh beloved, God wants to give you a fresh forecast. It’s unprecedented! It’s beyond amazing! Regardless of your present weather He wants to life you out of the doldrums and into the Son! He wants to change your focus from what’s going on to who is within you! Your destiny is not to live a mildewed, ho hum, depressed life. The Lord is moving you out of the human forecast and into the divine! Depression has to flee. Disappointment has to move away! You were not meant to live under a huge, dark, threatening cloud of discouragement—obliterating the light of the Son. The message of defeat that the enemy has been reporting to you is a lie from the pit of hell. All these signs of bad weather and bad news are meant to put you in despair.
But today is your day! It’s your day to say no to the deadly reports and believe the report of the Lord! It’s your day to say no to things you see and say yes to the life of faith! The Lord Jesus Himself will shine on your life and perk your heart and lift your spirit!
God loves you and He’s for you! Run to Him this morning and exchange the world’s report with His! Thank Him for changing everything and giving you fresh insight into His Word! Praise Him for the confident truth you are going to believe as you live in the Light of His Blessings and Joy!
