“Though it tarries, wait for it; For it will certainly come, it will not delay.”
We have had heavy rain and fog most of our weekend visiting. Now it appears that home is as rainy as what we left behind. We are looking forward to sunshine. The weather report says sunny days are ahead. But we’re in the midst of the rain. And the sunshine is forecast for several days away at least. We knew we would have rain but we’re tired of it now. How do we go on? Trust the weather report? Get disappointed if it doesn’t happen yet? Blame ourselves for believing? Blame God because we prayed for sun?
Oh beloved, this morning God wants you to know that His vision for your life will not tarry. Your dreams of a God sized life may be clouded by the rains and clouds of the present day situation. But God is with you. He is preparing you. He is making your heart ready for the Son! He is giving you lessons in perseverance and faith! You’ve heard from Him, whether through the prophetic word or the Scriptures and now you are wondering. He put a dream in your heart but you cannot see anything resembling what He has spoken to you. You’ve prayed in faith and yet it has not happened.
Wait for it. Wait patiently. Allow God full access to your dreams and to His purpose. Right now you are in a holding pattern. He is holding you! You are holding onto His promises! The power of God and his anointing area already resident in you. Practice His presence and build your spiritual muscles right where you are!
God loves you and He’s for you! He is not an 11th hour God! He’s right on time! The same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead dwells in you! Wait for His fulfillment. Seek His face. Live fully prepared for the change that is coming your way. Hold onto the promises of God and live in the Light of His wonderful plans for your life!
