God Sees & Grants Victory

We’re experiencing some very warm weather for this time of year. Not only that, we’re getting threats of storms and windy weather even at night. I woke up to the wine howling through a window not quite down all the way. It’s a sorrowful sound that we don’t often hear, but still it makes me glad to know that it won’t last forever.

Oh beloved, are the winds howling at your window? Do you see nothing but trouble on the horizon? Have you been wishing for calmer winds for your life? God wants you to know this morning that He’s with you. When troubles come it’s not a sign that He has left you to suffer through on your own. No, He is the God who sees and the God who comforts. He’s neither indifferent nor distant. When you are born again, you are born into the Kingdom of His Presence. You may feel that you won’t make it, that life is unfair, that you have no strength or that nothing is worth living for. But the Lord your God is with you wherever you go! That means He has a plan in the pain, power for your weakness and that He will most assuredly work all things together for your good.

God loves you and He’s for you! He says to quit focusing on the weather and allow Him to be your Shelter in the Storm. He loves you so much that He sent His Son to face death on your behalf! This is your power for living – you are destined for victory even now. The plans of the Lord for you are courageous, invincible and overcoming as you walk in the Spirit and live for the One who gave you this wonderful new life!

Romans 8:37-39 But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

I Corinthians 15:57 but thanks be to God, who gives us the victory [as conquerors] through our Lord Jesus Christ.

I Corinthians 1:9 God is faithful, through whom you were called into fellowship with His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.

I Corinthians 1:18 For the word of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God!

About rebekahbeene

In a Women’s meeting in 1983, I went up for prayer and to see if God had “anything for me”. The woman of God who was praying for people spoke over my life. She said these words: “You will write books. You can go to the bank on it. Rivers of living water will flow from your belly…”
