One of our grandsons was trying to subtract for practice during the time school was out. The subtraction was easy to me. We were taught how to add, subtract and divide by 5’s, 10’s etc when I was a student. But our daughter reminded him of a way to find the answer that I’d never heard of. Still, he came up with the right answer. That phrase comes to mind as I wake up this morning, “You do the math”.
Aren’t we blessed? God doesn’t leave us to figure out anything on our own. He doesn’t tell us “You do the math.” We don’t have to hope we come up with the right answer or direction or plan.
Oh beloved, God wants you to know this morning that He is working out every problem for you. He is adding up blessings in the midst of your problems. He is multiplying your strength in the midst of weaknesses. He is giving you more than you can add up for yourself. He is extravagant with His love that He pours out to you daily. None of it depends on your abilities, your bank account or your title. He isn’t looking for capable people to bless. He’s look to bless people who know they have zero without the Lord. You do the math: Christ in you is your hope of glory. Jesus plus the Cross equals your salvation.
God loves you plus He’s for you! That’s an unbeatable equation! You aren’t destined to fail another day. You are destined to reign with Him! All you have to do is take what is rightfully yours in Christ and add it all up to your benefit. God even gives you equations to help you along the way! He says Godliness plus contentment is great gain! He’s giving you more than you can imagine! He’s saying prepare the way for the new math! I AM plus your heart totals unprecedented favor, mercy, grace, anointing, and love! Rest in His promises and rejoice in His plans for your life as you live in the Light of His amazing, lavish Truth!
