I often had conversations about the Lord with one of my uncles. He was a faithful Christian who taught Sunday School and led singing each week. He rarely failed to attend church at least when I was young. One thing He and I discussed was feeling God’s presence and hearing from Him. “You’re not likely” was his general answer when talking about hearing from God away from church.
If God were only to be found in church, then there would be many who would only live for Him on Sunday once a week. Last night the Lord dropped a thought into my spirit: If Christ was just about Christmas we’d live for Him only 24 hours every 365 days.
Oh beloved, aren’t we blessed? Believers all across the world can celebrate the wonderful miracle of our Savior’s Birth every day! We can experience God’s presence daily as well! Because Christ came and split the veil, we now have access to Him 24/7! There’s no limit to our access and there’s no limit to the depth of the power of God for us!

Romans 8:11 But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.
2 Corinthians 4:6-7 For God, who said, “Let there be light in the darkness,” has made this light shine in our hearts so we could know the glory of God that is seen in the face of Jesus Christ. We now have this light shining in our hearts, but we ourselves are like fragile clay jars containing this great treasure. This makes it clear that our great power is from God, not from ourselves.
Ephesians 3:16 I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit.
