Open God’s Gifts Early

Our littlest granddaughter begs away to open her Christmas package early. It’s a cute beg for sure. But no matter how much she says so, we just cannot open the packages early. I told her she’d have nothing left for Christmas day.

Oh beloved, this Christmas you can open the gifts of Christmas early. For the best gifts are not under the tree. You can open them each and every day throughout the year. Open the grace gift first! And pass it around. Give it away. Be lavish with it. For God Himself was lavish with you – not counting one of your sins against you! He still doesn’t count a single error or bad attitude or sin against you. Everything is forgiven – totally and forever! Give that gift to others and watch them thrive before your very eyes! Go ahead and open Christ’s gifts to you – every single one. Mercy, faith, kindness, generosity, forgiveness and best of all love! All the gifts that you could never afford to receive God has given to you because Christ made the purchase! You aren’t destined to live a miserly, less than life! You are destined to live lavishly loved, perfectly redeemed and totally changed! Give the gifts of CHRISTmas to your family and your friends. Pass them on to strangers every time you can. You are a mighty warrior for Grace and you have much to give that will change hearts and bless lives.

God loves you and He’s for you! That’s a gift to give away as well. Don’t hold onto grudges or animosity for those things will tarnish the tinsel of Christmas and cause you to feel worse. Once you have RECEIVED God’s gifts you will be free to give them away as you live in the Light of Christ’s Wonderful Gifts!

2 John 1:3 Grace, mercy, and peace, which come from God the Father and from Jesus Christ–the Son of the Father–will continue to be with us who live in truth and love.

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.

James 1:17 Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow.

About rebekahbeene

In a Women’s meeting in 1983, I went up for prayer and to see if God had “anything for me”. The woman of God who was praying for people spoke over my life. She said these words: “You will write books. You can go to the bank on it. Rivers of living water will flow from your belly…”
