That first holiday we were a dating couple my husband went home to his father’s for Christmas. I’ve never missed anyone so much as him those few days. Since then we’ve never spent another holiday apart.
What a great reminder to my fellow believers.
Oh beloved! This love story between you and the Lord is solid. Even Christ reminds you that although He had to go away He left you a Comforter – His Holy Spirit to be with you always. Even if you are without company, you are never alone. Even if you wonder if He really cares, you can be assured that His care is everlasting. This is no mere human relationship. This is supernatural and unprecedented! He says fear not! He says rejoice! He says delight in Me! Put all your trust in Me. I AM your all in all and I will be with you all the way to heaven and then some! Trust Me to make not only your holidays bright but every single day! In the world you may have disappointing relationships, unfulfilled expectations and discouraging situations. But In Me you will have everything you’ve ever wanted and more! And in Me you will not only find your own fulfillment, you will cease striving to have others fulfill you. Even though it seems like a dead season things are going on to bring it all back to life. Stand tall and hold onto the Lord’s Hand with high hopes and find the purpose you’ve been looking for all along.
God loves you and He’s for you! It’s time to start praising! Remember His Presence is the heaven you long for. His Promises are the reason you can be victorious! This is the beginning of the Most Wonderful Time of the Year and the best of the rest of your life as you live in the Light of His Everlasting Love!
Zephaniah 3:17 For the Lord your God is living among you. He is a mighty savior. He will take delight in you with gladness. With His love, He will calm all your fears. He will rejoice over you with joyful songs!
Psalm 62:2 He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress where I will never be shaken.
Psalm 73:23 Nevertheless I am continually with You; You have taken hold of my right hand.
