Changed From The Inside Out

What a wonderful play we went to last night! A remake of the old classic A Christmas Carol, our 9 year old grandson as among the actors. Of course he was outstanding! Old Ebenezer, played quite well by one of the older Gifted and Talented students, had the same old outlook as the original story. And of course, by visitation of ghostly spirits his life was changed from the inside out.

Aren’t we blessed? We’ve been changed from the inside out as well! Like Old Ebenezer, we have had a visitation and our life has been changed. God has seen our plight and He has sent His Son to redeem us. The Holy Spirit has filled our hearts and we are no longer living for self, but for the Lord!

Oh beloved! God wants to visit you this morning and give you a fresh start! He wants to give you fresh mercy for your worn out attempts that have failed. He wants to give you a warm hearty portion of glory to replace the tired darkness of disappointment. He’s visiting you to change everything – from the inside out! He will replace the stony heart of rejection and give you a soft heart of empathy. Everywhere you feel lack He will give overflow! He is the Only Living God who can change every area of your life – even those areas you are sure can never change! Your life is better than a classic movie. Your life is a beautiful story of renewal, redemption, regeneration and restoration!

God loves you and He’s for you! Run to Him this morning and open the eyes of your heart! Embrace His Word and live free of the doldrums of past regrets and future fears! You’re alive today because God has granted you the opportunity to live in the Light of His Wonderful Grace so go out and live it with all of your heart!

Ezekial 11:19 And I will give them singleness of heart and put a new spirit within them. I will take away their stony, stubborn heart and give them a tender, responsive heart

2 Corinthians 5:19 For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to Himself, no longer counting people’s sins against them. And He gave us this wonderful message of reconciliation.

Acts 13:52 And the disciples were continually filled with joy and with the Holy Spirit.

Colossians 3:10 Put on your new nature, and be renewed as you learn to know your Creator and become like Him.

About rebekahbeene

In a Women’s meeting in 1983, I went up for prayer and to see if God had “anything for me”. The woman of God who was praying for people spoke over my life. She said these words: “You will write books. You can go to the bank on it. Rivers of living water will flow from your belly…”
