It’s Not That Far Is It?

As we prepared for the prayer walk in a nearby town I talked to two ladies from our town. One of them expressed that they were worried they might not be able to make the whole walk. It was nearly a mile each way. I told them it reminded me when God gives assignments to us we aren’t sure we can do it either. But God gives us strength to pursue His will.

Oh beloved, you will make it! What God has called you to He will see you to! He’s not one to give assignments with doubt. He does give you impossible situations only so you and I will know it’s impossible without the anointing of God.

God loves you and He is for you. Whatever He has called you to get going! Ask Jesus to enable you and invite Holy Spirit to empower you! Don’t worry about the distance, just put one foot forward and watch God enable and equip you to finish the race. Rejoice that His assignment is your reliance on walking in the wisdom, power and love of God!

I Thessalonians 5:24 Faithful is He who calls you, and He also will bring it to pass.

Hebrews 13:20-21 Now the God of peace, who brought up from the dead the great Shepherd of the sheep through the blood of the eternal covenant, even Jesus our Lord, equip you in every good thing to do His will, working in us that which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen.

Psalm 138:8 The Lord will fulfill his purpose for me; your steadfast love, O Lord, endures forever. Do not forsake the work of your hands.

Philippians 1:6 And I am sure of this, that He who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.
