When I drove through town at lunch yesterday it was overcast. As I neared my lunch destination it began to sprinkle lightly. No weather report had been given for rain but it was a typical fall day. I went on to pick up my lunch and sit in the parking lot like I do sometimes. Before long I noticed that the sun was shining and I looked out my window to see that those clouds, which had just completely covered the sky and produced misty rain were gone. The weather changed so suddenly I was amazed! Beautiful blue skies! Within minutes everything changed.
Oh beloved, the Lord is with you! He knows your name and He knows all of your needs. He hears your prayers for He is your Father God. It may seem that your overcast conditions of life are going to remain that way forever. But God is a God of turnarounds and they happen suddenly. Right in the midst of the rain He brings for the sun. I know this because His Word says so and because I’ve seen it happen right before my eyes! This is Covenant Living to talk to the Lord about all things. Keep praying. Keep going to the Father for the needs of your loved ones, your family and your life. Take everything to the Lord! If it’s worth thinking about it’s worth taking to the Throne Room of Grace! That’s where you find help in time of need! If it’s worth allowing you to be weighed down then it’s worthy of giving to Him for He daily bears our burdens. If you love that prodigal, whoever they are, rest assured that God loves them more! Agree with God! Don’t pray the problems, pray the solutions! Your prayer closet may be your car, your yard, your laundry room or your office. Pray. Pray often, watch the skies for heavenly changes! Your unprecedented season is here! So talk to your King, rejoice with His Word and tell Him everything!
God loves you and He’s for you! Go ahead and ask Him for everything knowing that He hears, He covers you and He answers! Rejoice in who you are taking your prayers to and rest in the Light of His Mercy and Grace!
