When we bought this home nearly 20 years ago I told Danny I would never want to change a thing. I liked it just the way it was. Unfortunately that wasn’t quite true. We’ve painted and taken out a wall and put in new carpet plus other things along the way. I did like the house just the way it was but I also wanted to put my own touch on it.
Oh beloved, when God took you as His own, you said yes to Christ. And God said I take you just the way you are. But He set about on a plan to change your heart and mind to be more like Jesus. He changes you and me until we are a reflection of His glory. All of His children get a makeover.
His love covered everything. You no longer have to regret your past or fear your future for both are solidly and securely taken care of. You’ve not been remodeled, you’ve been made brand new! You have a new way of living and thinking and hoping and dreaming. God removes the unrighteous façade and He says to you this morning I love you and I will take care of you. He says I will not allow the enemy to steal you from My heart. He says your life is now in My hands. He says even when the worst things happen I am still with you. Even if you think you’ve been abandoned I will never leave you. He says trust in the process of the changes and allow Me to have My way with your life.
He says most of all – I love you and I am for you always! Because God speaks love to you and over you, you can live in confidence of His faithfulness through all the changes as you walk in the Light of His Wonderful Word!
2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come.
2 Corinthians 3:18 But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit.
Romans 8:28 And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.
I Corinthians 1:9 God is faithful, through whom you were called into fellowship with His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
