Marriage photos prayer brushed

There seems to have been some problems with the marriage picture share. All we have to show for our wedding photos are a lot of mostly out of focus and double exposed ones too. I did share a really cute picture of Danny and me and I love it.

But just so everybody knows a marriage is not a set of wedding pictures. A marriage is a covenant between two in love and a magnificent God who loves to lavish covenant blessings on a man and woman who take the dare. It is not airbrushed photos it’s holding her hand in the delivery room. It’s stretching the money and paying the bills. It’s waiting with him while he has a heart stress test. It’s standing at the hospital when a child is hanging between life and death. It’s watching together and holding the hand of their parents who are leaving this world.

There’s a lot of praying, forgiving and loving sprinkled all the way. It’s not always pretty but it is always worth it.

This evening I thank God for my wonderful marriage. And I pray that you will know how blessed you really are to have someone by your side in the good and the bad no matter what.

And I’m praying that you will know that God will help you all the way because he loves you and he’s for you no matter what.
