Late in the day we traveled the 1000 acre ranch land to the highest knoll. Once there we could see many miles. So far in fact that we even saw the skyline of Ft Worth all lit up like Christmas. Everything looked different from there. We got a whole new perspective.
Sometimes we need to get away to get a higher view and see a different perspective.
Oh beloved you have been viewing your situation a long time. God is calling you to get another viewpoint. It’s time to get away with him and see the whole picture. You will be amazed how much things will change when you see it from his viewpoint. Your perspective is based on what you have been going through. But God’s perspective takes what you’re going through and makes it a beautiful and glorious scene.
High above the every day troubles God’s glory is shining through. Your destiny is not to live with the troubles and struggles and barely make it through. No beloved, your destiny is to live and move and have your being in the Savior and in the love of God. His perspective will give you peace to continue through and strength to continue on in the Spirit.
God loves you and he is for you! Trust him to work everything out for your good and his glory. Rejoice in his love, remain in his word, and live in the light of His viewpoint of glory!
2 Corinthians 4:18 So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. NIV
Colossians 3:1-2 Since you have been raised to new life with Christ, set your sights on the realities of heaven, where Christ sits in the place of honor at God’s right hand. Think about the things of heaven, not the things of earth.
