All Comfort is Available

With the break in of a friend’s car at the motel, she had to talk with a police officer, a glass repairman and her husband. It took time to gather all her wits about her, to gather her spiritual strength and to gather the items they had strewn outside her vehicle. Thankfully her son was also a police officer and he told her he would meet her there. Isn’t it such comfort to have help when things are rough?

Oh beloved, your life may have been ransacked, at least it feels that way. The things you value have been strewn around like so much confetti. Stuff you hold dear has been left for trash out in the rain. You’re standing here today looking at the mess and you wonder who to call on first for help. One thing I can promise, because it’s promised in the Word of God – Jesus will meet you there. He is the Comforter in seasons of distress and grief. He is the Redeemer when things are broken beyond your repair. He’s the One who avenges wrong, cleans up your messes and sets everything back in order!

Today you need to know that you know that you know you can call on Him for Anything. He will always come running for you because He loves you and He delights in having His children call on Him for help, no matter how messed up things are or how messed up your life is or how messed up you are.  His joy is in coming to the rescue of those who have lost their spiritual strength and cannot seem to gather their wits about themselves. He delights in you! He loves to help! “Your help comes from the Lord!”

God loves you and He’s for you! You may see disaster, He sees restoration. This is your Father, who is such a good and loving Father, Savior and Friend! Rejoice that you always have someone in your corner during any kind of situation and live fully loved in the Light of His Glory & Grace!

Psalm 121:2 My help comes from the LORD, Who made heaven and earth.

Psalm 46:1 God is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble.

Psalm 62:7 My victory and honor come from God alone. He is my refuge, a rock where no enemy can reach me.

Job 16:19 Even now, behold, my Witness is in heaven, and my Advocate is on high.

2 Corinthians 1:3 All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is our merciful Father and the source of all comfort.

About rebekahbeene

In a Women’s meeting in 1983, I went up for prayer and to see if God had “anything for me”. The woman of God who was praying for people spoke over my life. She said these words: “You will write books. You can go to the bank on it. Rivers of living water will flow from your belly…”
