Tuesday@10-What I Love Most About Myself…

What I love most about myself is who I am in Christ.

Like most kids  I had issues with self esteem. I had some talent, I was smart, I had loving parents. But the mirror always showcased my imperfections. Like most adults I searched for significance within myself. One day I met Jesus face to face and everything changed. I could embrace my weaknesses because He became my strength. I could face my fears because He was my valiant protector. I could face the not good enough lies of the enemy because in Christ I became the righteousness of God.

Oh beloved, self-esteem is over-rated and unattainable. In our heart of hearts we all know we come up short. In heavenly realms, with Christ as our Savior, we are changed! Take time today to review who you really are IN CHRIST! And then take time to remind  yourself that you are no longer (fill it in) but you are now (find those Scriptures). And then remind the enemy of your soul that you are perfected, redeemed, renewed, revitalized, anointed and appointed for this day!

God loves you and He’s for you! Now that’s something to remind us how much we can like ourselves. Christ in us the Hope of Glory! Rejoice in His presence, rest in His promises and live “liked” because you are positioned in LOVE to live in the Light of his Glory & Grace!

Romans 7:18 For I know that nothing good dwells in me, that is, in my flesh; for the willing is present in me, but the doing of the good is not.

Ephesians 1:18-19 I pray that your hearts will be flooded with light so that you can understand the confident hope HE has given to those he called–HIS holy people who are HIS rich and glorious inheritance.  I also pray that you will understand the incredible greatness of God’s power for us who believe HIM…

About Rebekah Beene

In a Women’s meeting in 1983, I went up for prayer and to see if God had “anything for me”. The woman of God who was praying for people spoke over my life. She said these words: “You will write books. You can go to the bank on it. Rivers of living water will flow from your belly…”
