Don’t Get Comfortable – Travel!

My parents loved to travel. Even when my dad was in his early 80’s they were heading out to visit and see the sights. They loved going places. My dad even loved moving. Mother finally called a halt to that – staying in one spot was her dream. But they still went in and out to other places.

Oh beloved, God knows you want to stay put in your nice comfortable place. But He’s ready for you to travel! He wants you to travel in the Spirit and make headway in the heavenlies! He wants you to talk about God’s blessings and share about the hard times He has gotten you through. He wants you declaring the joy found in Him and the peace that passes all understanding. He will take care of you. His plan for you is wild. When you sing, He wants you singing for Him! When you dance, He wants you dancing for Him. When you get up in the morning He wants to give you a sense of wonder and excitement of what the day holds in the Spirit realm.

God loves you and He’s for you! instead of dreading what might happen today, run to His Word and rest in His promises. Pack your spiritual bags and let Him take you where no man can go – into the Spirit and out into the world! You are a wonderful example of God’s glorious grace and your life will take on new meaning as you let Him bless you with giftings and callings that you never thought about. Rejoice in His call as you go forth in the Light of His Glory and Grace!

Deuteronomy 14:2
for you are a people holy to the LORD your God. Out of all the peoples on the face of the earth, the LORD has chosen you to be his treasured possession.

Titus 2:14
who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good.

About rebekahbeene

In a Women’s meeting in 1983, I went up for prayer and to see if God had “anything for me”. The woman of God who was praying for people spoke over my life. She said these words: “You will write books. You can go to the bank on it. Rivers of living water will flow from your belly…”
