No Longer Dying

BOUGHT WITH A PRICE

With the terrible flooding that occurred all around us, many pets are now homeless. They are showing up as orphans in neighborhoods far from their original homes. Finding the owner is no easy task, especially if the pet has lost the collar and identification it had. Destined for the city pound, these animals may not have much hope. They had a life of being loved but they could be headed for a death sentence. I love pets, especially dogs, so I want to save them all. It is especially wonderful to hear a story of owner and pet being reunited. Their death sentence has been restored to a life sentence because they are back where they were meant to be.

We were all born under a death sentence. We were born spiritual orphans with no home and no family. Although we had natural parents who may have loved and nurtured us, we still were destined for the graveyard and no hope for eternal joy or peace. Simply put we had no real future and the enemy of our soul, just like a dog catcher, was after us all the time. This is how it was before Christ – futile, hopeless and orphans.

Oh beloved, do you know? Have you heard? This is no longer your life! You’ve been permanently adopted. No disaster will ever separate you from your Father! He secured your life sentence at the Cross, through the Empty Tomb and His ascension to heaven! Your credentials and proof of ownership are not forged by human hands. Even if rejection and separation comes from those who don’t know any better, you can be assured that the feelings you have is temporary. God says that He loves you so much that even if you are set to the curb, He will be with you!

Even if no other wants you, you are wanted in the Kingdom! This Kingdom living is like no other. You are always in preparation for your destination. The things that come against you are making you a stronger believer each and every time! It’s time to live each day fully! Stop lamenting the shortness of your stay here. Every step you make is your destiny to live for Jesus. Your hope is heaven, but your destiny includes life here as a child of God. You live in awesome hope because God saw everything you’d ever go through and sent Jesus to be your solution and your joy and your purpose in and through everything! He didn’t just die for you, He busted out of that tomb so that death could no longer have a grip on you. You’ll never be wandering or orphaned again! Because of all He did, you can live all the days of your life knowing that each one is appointed for you.

God loves you and He’s for you – the everlasting kind. You are bought with a price! You are secured with a Savior! You are filled with His Spirit! You are strong and able and designed to be the finest picture of a beloved child of God! No more living in futility and despair. You are going to live life to the fullest because you are living in the Light of His Glory and Grace!

I Corinthians 6:20 You were bought with a price [purchased with a [a]preciousness and paid for, [b]made His own]. So then, honor God and bring glory to Him in your body.

I Peter 1:18 For you know that God paid a ransom to save you from the empty life you inherited from your ancestors. And the ransom He paid was not mere gold or silver.

Romans 14:8 If we live, it’s to honor the Lord. And if we die, it’s to honor the Lord. So whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord.

Psalm 86:12 I will give thanks to You, O Lord my God, with all my heart, and will glorify Your name forever.

Psalm 107:2 Let the redeemed of the LORD say so! Whom He has redeemed from the hand of the adversary!

About rebekahbeene

In a Women’s meeting in 1983, I went up for prayer and to see if God had “anything for me”. The woman of God who was praying for people spoke over my life. She said these words: “You will write books. You can go to the bank on it. Rivers of living water will flow from your belly…”
