I love horses. And I have several friends who are horse lovers as well. One day I was reading about a horse for sale and a picture of a horse came to my mind. This horse was in a small stall and shackled as well. Now this horse was let loose into the paddock. The shackles were removed. Yet the horse just stood there for a long while. Eventually it began to shake its mane and flick its tail. Within another few minutes it tried to kick up a little. Pretty soon it was raring its front legs, mane and tale flying in the air. What was a shackled bound drab everyday horse became a free, dancing, beautiful beast. It finally came into the freedom it was already in.
Oh beloved, it’s true. You once were shackled – Shackled by sin. Shackled by opinions of man. Stuck in the bonds of human reasoning. Chained by false thinking. But God has led you out! He has set you free! It’s time to dance! It’s time to shout! It’s time to rise up and enjoy being who you are in Christ! Christ paid to have you freed completely! Holy Spirit has come into your heart to keep you free! It’s time to quit living in the past. Start believing the truth about you – free and fearless, unbound and loosed! Come into the freedom that’s already been given to you. People’s opinions don’t matter. Past regrets can’t hold you down. Shackles of self judgement are gone! You are free and you can run with the wind! Your destiny is to live free and share your freedom with others, so they too can go free!
God loves you and He’s for you! Don’t hold back a thing! Don’t bow down to false bondage anymore! God has given you RICHLY all things to ENJOY! And that’s your freedom cry as you live and move in the Light of His Glory and Grace!
