My mother has spent the last 20 mother’s days in heaven. The only thing I regret about past Mother’s days with her is that I cannot have another one with her here. I would like to encourage every son or daughter who has a mother still here to lavish love on her. You don’t know. This might be the last Mother’s Day you have with her.
What can you give her? Rich or poor you can give this: honor, love, respect, time, forgiveness and blessings. Make a phone call. Hug a neck. Pluck some flowers. Spend 20 minutes with her talking to her and loving on her.
You’ll never regret trying to reach out, making the time or forgiving from the heart. But you will regret when she’s no longer here.
And an early Happy Mother’s Day to all the women who are called mother. God ordained you to be a mother and He says you are special! Keep praying for those kids, no matter how old they are, because your prayers make all the difference. God loves the prayers of a mother. He really does.
