Tuesday at Ten – WISH

Funny that just Sunday I was sharing that even as a child when I would chant the wish upon a star I’d always end it with “Please Jesus!”  Somehow God was calling to my heart even then. He is so magnificent that even my wishes were covered in prayer.

Aren’t we thankful with the LORD we don’t have to wish for things? Wish brings the word wistful to mind which says maybe, hope so, dreamy, later… But with God we have a standing invitation into the PRESENCE OF THE ALMIGHTY! We get to partake of His SPIRIT and TRUTH. The veil is torn forever so that we always always always know He hears us! Hearts who are fully HIS unite! He hears us! He answers!  He cares!

Oh beloved, whatever you are wishing for take it to the LORD. Lay it at His feet. See the Savior living to intercede for YOU!  What an awesome life to life as a completely committed follower KNOWING that God is with us – we shall not fail. Our wishes don’t matter, but our prayers – THEY ARE sweet incense as we open them up with greeting Our Father, Who is in Heaven and we praise Him for who He is. We boldly ask for His Kingdom to come into our life, our jobs, our marriages, our finances, our hopes, our dreams, our wishes. Everything changes from a whisp of smoke hope to a solid rock knowledge as we carry it all to Him.

God loves you and He’s for you. Go ahead and tell Him all – He won’t ever turn a deaf ear or regard you with disdain. Rejoice in the answers as you live in the Light of His Glory and Grace!

I John 5:14-15 This is the confidence which we have before Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.  And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests which we have asked from Him.

Psalm 62:8 Trust in Him at all times, O people; Pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us. Selah.

About rebekahbeene

In a Women’s meeting in 1983, I went up for prayer and to see if God had “anything for me”. The woman of God who was praying for people spoke over my life. She said these words: “You will write books. You can go to the bank on it. Rivers of living water will flow from your belly…”
