Live in the Waters of His Refreshing Love!

We drove over to Hot Springs in the blinding rain. We drove through the streets through water and over swollen creeks. We stopped to get a bite and even the culvert by the restaurant was gushing over. Finally as we drove home we went the back way and less than a mile from home we were met with flooding conditions at a small bridge. It was dark so we decided it was best to back up and go around. No use getting washed away or having the car flooded.

When God floods over us we are washed away in His love. We’re unsure though because we’re used to a flood of emotions and fears and worries. We’ve never lived so loved before. We wonder if we can trust Him. We wonder if His love will last, if we can be good enough or strong enough to warrant His love. Then we gingerly step into the water and we find that it’s peaceful and tranquil. We step out a little deeper and find that even if we are over our heads, we are in His hands. And it is good!

Oh beloved, today is your day! It’s time to quit evaluating the depth of His love. You cannot even begin to measure how much God loves you! He threw away all measurements because GOD IS LOVE! Surround yourself with this truth right now this moment, before the day takes over and you hear other voices that might threaten you, disarm you, worry you or give you fear of the water. You have a calling and it’s swimming in the depths of His love. It does not matter how others love you, evaluate you or perceive you. God says you are His beloved. He says you are covered by Him, you are blessed, delivered, and set free to live in His love always. Your position is saved and loved and anointed and set apart. Nothing can ever separate you from His love. Nothing can quench this love or dry it up. Time to quit rehearsing your unworthiness or your mistakes or your inability to measure His love. It’s time to let Him flow over your life with His love that has no measure and no bounds.

God loves you and He’s for you. This is why, in your heart of hearts, you really WANT to step into deeper waters! You are just compelled to know more about His great love! And then if you even surface to take a breath you will want to grab others and tell them that the water of His love is oh so fine! Rejoice and rest in the blessings as you live in the waters of His refreshing love!

Ephesians 3:18 And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep His love is.

I Timothy 1:14 Oh, how generous and gracious our Lord was! He filled me with the faith and love that come from Christ Jesus.

Romans 8:38-39 And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow–not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below–indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Psalm 36:7 How precious is your unfailing love, O God! All humanity finds shelter in the shadow of Your wings.

Psalm 16:11 You make known to me the path of life; You will fill me with joy in Your presence, with eternal pleasures at Your right hand. NIV

About rebekahbeene

In a Women’s meeting in 1983, I went up for prayer and to see if God had “anything for me”. The woman of God who was praying for people spoke over my life. She said these words: “You will write books. You can go to the bank on it. Rivers of living water will flow from your belly…”

  1. His love knows knows bounds and it is so amazing that He pursues us with it and lavishes it over us…God is good and I for one am so grateful for His love. Thank you for the beautiful reminder!
