Evidently the most fascinating thing about the small town circus we went to was the jugglers. Our 7 year old grandson was practicing his juggling Saturday morning with two tennis balls. He was throwing them back and forth, up and down. Of course he dropped them often and one or both would get away from him and he’d have to get them and try again. He did keep trying.
God speaks to my heart. God doesn’t juggle with our life. He doesn’t throw it around. He doesn’t keep trying to get it right. He holds us lovingly in His arms and everything He does for us is perfect.
Oh beloved. May you feel like your life has been thrown up in the air and all is out of control. Whatever it is you are going through right now, it’s not some random act of sorrow or pain or confusion. You are not flying through the air wildly. You are loved and held and God is completely committed to you. He makes no false moves and He never has to recover from an error. Even if life is crazy you are under the comforting care of Almighty God. Even if you are feeling disappointment, fear or chaos, don’t think for a moment that heaven is unaware of your pain. Before you were born God had all the care and plans for you mapped out for your life. He is a shelter in the storm. None of His actions are wildly errant even when your life looks that way.
God loves you and He’s for you. His remarkable care gives us the peace that passes all understanding no matter what is going on around us. Rest in His promises and trust the outcome to Him. He will watch over you, guide you and keep you safe always. And you can live in the Light of His glory and grace.
