Tuesday at Ten – BLESSED

Easter is just a few days away. Jesus is about to roll into Jerusalem on a donkey with everyone waving palm fronds and crying “Hosanna!”  They were all shouting fervent and worshipful praise to the One Who came to deliver them, set them free and more.  It was exciting, exhilarating and breathtaking to see the Savior of the World. All their hopes were in Him.  They saw triumph, but Jesus saw betrayal. He knew everything He was about to go through.  Everything He was about to go through was impossible to avoid and yet it was all for love – His entire life was blessed before the foundation of the world. No enemy could defeat Him, no friend could disappoint Him, no satanic influence could change Him.

You may feel that your life is a mess. Those who promised allegiance have walked away. Those who said they’d stick with you scattered at the first sign of trouble. They may have disowned you, belittled you, stabbed you in the back. They might have watched as you were crucified. Tormented, victimized, paralyzed with fear, total loss of favor, ministry, hope and more…you are in a place of hardship.

Oh beloved, God says to you this morning, you are alive! You are BLESSED! It’s no surprise that you may have to suffer the very things that Jesus did, but because He is the Resurrection and the Life – you will live! And you will live for the glory of God. This time of testing and trouble will pass. It may indeed be Friday in your heart and the clouds are hanging low and the earth beneath your feet is shaking. But hold on! Sunday is coming! You will walk out of this present darkness and into His Light! You have a story to tell and a message to proclaim. You are victorious and valiant in all you do because God’s Blessings are all over you. No matter what it looks like – no matter what you see – you are living proof of a God who LIVES and BLESSES His own!

God loves you and He’s for you. Quit living in the troubles an begin proclaiming the Resurrection. You are blessed – highly favored, counted righteous, have eternal life and destined for His glory and Kingdom! Easter is just a holiday but your life is Holy unto the Lord. Blessed exceedingly and abundantly as you live in the light of His glory and grace!

Galatians 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave Himself for me. KJV

Galatians 3:9So then, those who are people of faith are blessed and made happy and favored by God [as partners in fellowship] with the believing and trusting Abraham.

Psalm 34:8 O taste and see that the Lord is good; How blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him!

About rebekahbeene

In a Women’s meeting in 1983, I went up for prayer and to see if God had “anything for me”. The woman of God who was praying for people spoke over my life. She said these words: “You will write books. You can go to the bank on it. Rivers of living water will flow from your belly…”

Yes, this: “Quit living in the troubles an begin proclaiming the Resurrection.”

Our past shapes up, but it doesn’t have to define us! Knowing that, and believing it, allows us so much freedom!

Thank you for this encouraging reminder on a day I was tempted to throw a pity party. You have reminded me of how truly blessed I am, and that I need to find my strength and hope in Christ alone! I hope you have a lovely day!
