Tuesday at Ten – DREAM

There are two kinds of dreams. Roads you could say.

One is all about our hopes and wishes. These dreams send us to fairy tale land because they don’t accomplish anything but give us a getaway of the mind now and then. If we’re not careful these dreams can cause us to be unhappy.  You might miss the joy of the moment because you’re dreaming of more money, better husbands, etc.  We can literally dream (or wish) our life away.

But there are dreams that are given to us by God Himself. These dreams are gateways into His will for our life.  They are songs in the night when we feel unable to accomplish anything for Him. They are hopes in the daytime that give your heart a lift. God’s plans for us include dreams because we have a hard time hearing anything good from Him. He loves and we always try to add “but…” He has a call on our lives and we always want to question that. “How could He use me?”  But the dream is straight from the Spirit of God into our spirits.

Oh beloved, you need to know today that it’s time to quit daydreaming about what might happen and start putting feet to your dreams. If you have given your life to Christ, then you have a huge dream inside of you – bigger than you can accomplish. That’s good! When you begin to walk out the dream you will see God’s provision and ability shine through you.

God loves you and He’s for you. As you begin to live out God’s dream for you don’t worry when opposition comes or people say it’s impossible. That’s just God preparing you for His glory as you live in the Light of His Plan for your life!

May He grant your heart’s desires and make all your plans succeed.
