WELCOME!

Happy New Year! We Welcome You with open arms this new year. We’re glad to leave the last one behind. We’re hoping for new mercy, fresh grace, redeemed moments. Last year may have been harsh or kind, tight or generous, fearful or fearless. Whether good or bad we let it go like a huge backpack.

We race into this new year crying “Welcome!”

And God meets us in this new year crying “Welcome!” as well. He’s so glad to see you and me precious one. He loves us extravagantly. He sees the hump in our shoulders from the burdens we bore last year and He’s so happy that we’ve lightened the load for this new year.

God’s burdens are LIGHT. His love is HIGH. His grace is MONUMENTAL. His plans for us are joy, peace, love, redemption. He always equips us, encourages us, reconciles us and restores us.

Welcome this year, this time, this hour. Don’t let fear knock you down or hold you back. There will probably be giants in the land of 2015, but go forth anyway. FOR SURELY you will conquer this brave new world.

Welcome God says one more time…”Have I not encouraged you to be strong and courageous? Do not be terrified [of what might or might not happen], do not tremble [in disbelief or doubt[, for I AM with you wherever you may go!”  (Joshua 1:9 )

Welcome as well to join me in the most Triumphant year we’ve ever had with Jesus. Welcome to newness, welcome to worship, welcome to praise, welcome to overcoming and overcoming and overcoming some more!  This is going to be the year of magnificent joy and exciting trips of faith as we learn to live in the Light of God’s Word and the grace of Christ’s love!

Psalm 89:15 Happy are those who hear the joyful call to worship, for they will walk in the light of your presence, LORD.

About rebekahbeene

In a Women’s meeting in 1983, I went up for prayer and to see if God had “anything for me”. The woman of God who was praying for people spoke over my life. She said these words: “You will write books. You can go to the bank on it. Rivers of living water will flow from your belly…”
