God’s Presence Heals all Hurts

One of our grandsons has had tubes put in his hears and his tonsils and adenoids removed. It takes a while to get over this surgery. He’s been staying in the bed with his parents at night, so that his mother can tend to him better. It seems that his worst moments come in the middle of the night. Yesterday he told his mom that he felt like he hadn’t slept in his own bed for weeks! She explained that the reason she was concerned about letting him sleep in his room was that she might not hear him calling out when he needed her. She reminded him that it hurts for him to talk right now. He pondered all that and responded that he thought he’d just stay in the parents’ room until he was well.

Oh beloved, are you going through a hurtful season? Maybe you feel the after holiday letdown. It may be that you’ve had a traumatic experience and you feel wounded and that you have no one to cry out to. Does God hear you? You may even feel that He is far away from you. Now is not the time to recede from God’s presence. It’s time to snuggle even closer to your Abba Father. He hears you no matter how far away you get, but staying close in His presence will help you heal and recuperate quicker. He’s calling you closer so that He can tend to your wounds and heal your heart.  God never wants you far away. But especially at hurtful seasons He wants you oh so close.  There are times when being closed in with the Father is your only option. And this, beloved, is an awesome option. Imagine how good it felt to be cuddled and cared for by your earthly parents. The care of your Heavenly Father is even more wonderful for He heals your heart and mind and renews your strength so that you can walk into the world again stronger than ever and ready to face what comes your way. God always seeks to equip you, encourage you, and restore you. If you’re hearing condemnation it’s not the Father. His voice is soothing, even when He must correct you or reposition you, it is always done in love and an attitude of healing your life.

God loves you and He’s for you. Whenever you need time with Him He will never send you away. There’s always room in His presence for you. Practice that presence daily so that you know His voice better and believe His Word completely. This is your path to victorious living. This is your place of quiet rest. Only from God’s presence will you ever be triumphant and be fully alive in the spirit. Rejoice that even when the hurts are huge, God is bigger. His plans for you are bigger than the momentary pains of life. You are so blessed and spiritually fortunate that God is your Abba Father always.

Psalm 16:11 You will make known to me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; In Your right hand there are pleasures forever.

Malachi 4:12 But for you who revere My name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its rays. And you will go out and frolic like well-fed calves.

Psalm 36:7 How precious is Your lovingkindness, O God! And the children of men take refuge in the shadow of Your wings.

Psalm 57:1 Have mercy on me, O God, have mercy! I look to You for protection. I will hide beneath the shadow of Your wings until the danger passes by.

Philippians 1:6 being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.

Psalm 34:2 The LORD redeems the soul of His servants, and none of those who take refuge in Him will be condemned.

About rebekahbeene

In a Women’s meeting in 1983, I went up for prayer and to see if God had “anything for me”. The woman of God who was praying for people spoke over my life. She said these words: “You will write books. You can go to the bank on it. Rivers of living water will flow from your belly…”

Please keep my daughter Amanda in your prayers… since her sister died in 2013 on her (Amanda’s) birthday, she has been suffering… says she is broken & cannot trust God or anyone… She has a baby that’ll be 2 in January & a wonderful husband, but she’s only listening to the lying voices in her head… This has been a really hard year, and she doesn’t have anyone to talk to (but me), if she brings up her hurts, her husband gets offended, so she’s keeping it all inside. In advance, thank you ♥
