We Will INDEED See!

“We’ll see”.  That was the standard answer when I was a child. Parents often use that phrase to placate the requests of their little ones. I always answered “We’ll see means no”.  There is much about life that is left to the imagination. And when we get older, we find that we have so many questions for God that at times we feel like saying, “We’ll see” when it comes to His answers, His abilities, His qualities. We get a little cynical. We want to believe, but after all, we’re not children. And yet God Himself responds, “Unless you come to Me like a little child…”

Are there things you are waiting on? Have you talked to God and haven’t gotten the answer yet? Are you walking through the mind field of troubles and you just know the next step is going to bring disaster? You want to believe that God will get you through it, but you’re beginning to wonder.  You cry out, “God help me!” and you hear nothing. God will never say “we’ll see” to you. But the enemy will. He will try to convince you that even though you’ve made it so far, any moment may be your disaster overtaking you. But God is Perfection Himself. He can be counted on, even when others let you step off into the mess alone. Even when you thought someone would be with you forever, they walked away. Now you’re left with the “We’ll see” and you’ve applied it to friendships, fellowship, troubles, trials and more.

Oh beloved, it’s time to stop and look again! Look back and see. Everything you’ve been through – God CAME through for you. Every trial you’ve encountered – God OVERCAME for you.  Every near death experience – Christ gave you abundant LIFE instead. He’s been there, He’s with you now and He will be with you always. Grace is the seal of approval on your life. And indeed, beloved, you will see the glory of God, the peace of God and the home of God in eternity. God says to you this morning, no matter what you are going through, no matter how cynical you’ve become, no matter the disappointments, heartaches or sorrows – I AM the God who sees. And because God sees, His comfort, care, and provision are here for you right now.  Look to the Word of God precious believer and see – no one who ever trusted in God was left desolate. No one who looked to God for help was put to shame.  Everyone who called upon the Name of the Lord was saved and provided for.

God loves you and He’s for you.  You will see the goodness of God in your life. Just keep looking at Him, keep reaching for His hand, keep walking, moving forward.  No enemy can thwart you, no disaster can stop you, no pessimism can halt God’s work in your life.  Remember to look back at His provision in the past, look now to His Word for today and look forward to His blessings each and every day as you live in the Light and believe His promises always!

Psalm 119:89-90 Forever, O LORD, Your word is settled in heaven. Your faithfulness continues throughout all generations; You established the earth, and it stands.

2 Peter 1:19 So we have the prophetic word made more sure, to which you do well to pay attention as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star arises in your hearts.

Deuteronomy 32:4 The Rock! His work is perfect, for all His ways are just; A God of faithfulness and without injustice, Righteous and upright is He.

Proverbs 30:5 Every word of God is flawless; He is a shield to those who take refuge in Him. NIV

Psalm 112:7 They do not fear bad news; they confidently trust the LORD to care for them.

2 Corinthians 1:20 For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ. And so through Him the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God. NIV

About rebekahbeene

In a Women’s meeting in 1983, I went up for prayer and to see if God had “anything for me”. The woman of God who was praying for people spoke over my life. She said these words: “You will write books. You can go to the bank on it. Rivers of living water will flow from your belly…”
